Available and Custom Keywords

To use the available keywords found below any text template and email body, simply click on the keyword for it to populate into your message.


  • #first_name
    • Populates the lead’s first name.
  • #last_name
    • Populates the lead’s last name.
  • #full_name
    • Populates the lead’s full name.
  • #email_address
    • Populates the lead’s email address.
  • #street_address
    • Populates the lead’s street address .
  • #city
    • Populates the lead’s city.
  • #state
    • Populates the lead’s state.
  • #zip_code
    • Populates the lead’s zip code.
  • #birthday
    • Populates the lead’s birthday.
  • #my_email
    • Populates your email address associated with your Ringy account.
  • #my_office_phone_number
    • Populates the Ringy phone number you’re contacting the lead with.
  • #my_forwarding_number
    • Populates your call forwarding phone number found by navigating to the Account Settings page in the left hand menu and in the General Info section.
  • #my_first_name
    • Populates your first name associated with your Ringy account.
  • #my_last_name
    • Populates your last name associated with your Ringy account.
  • #my_full_name
    • Populates your full name associated with your Ringy account.
  • #my_business_website
    • Populates your business website found by navigating to the Account Settings page in the left hand menu and in the General Info section.
  • #my_company_name
    • Populates your SMS Compliant Company Name found by navigating to the Phone Setup page in the left hand menu, choosing the Compliance tab, and scrolling down to the third section at the bottom. 
    • SMS regulations in the United States set forth by the CTIA require that every text message you send must clearly identify the party that obtained the opt-in from the recipient as the sender, except in follow-up messages of an ongoing conversation. In other words, this is required to be on all text messages until a lead texts you back. Using this keyword allows you to control where it is listed within your text message.  
  • #my_booking_link
  • #my_producer_link
  • #next_month_full_name
    • Populates the next month in the year. For example, if today is October 15th, this keyword would populate November. 
  • #new_line
    • Starts a new line for the remainder of the message.

You can also create custom keywords. You need to ensure the lead has this additional information listed for it to work. The additional information is seen on the right hand side of the lead.

For example, to create a custom keyword for Beneficiary:

First, enter the field name and the value of this field as seen below:

Next, to create a custom keyword in order to populate the value of this field into the message, input the "#" symbol followed by the field name being in all lower case letters. The keyword then for Beneficiary is #beneficiary, which will populate Bob Ross into the message. 

Another example is Favorite Hobby.

To create a custom keyword in order to populate the value of this field into the message, input the "#" symbol followed by the field name being in all lower case letters, and replace spaces with an underscore, "_" The keyword then for Favorite Hobby is #favorite_hobby, which will populate Painting into the message.
